Everyday Crop Sewing Pattern

$18.00

The Everyday Crop PDF Sewing Pattern is a modern knit top designed to feel easy going and elevated. It features a wide boat neckline, a modest cropped length, and thoughtful underarm coverage.

When designing this pattern, my goal was to create a true wardrobe staple that feels intentional, versatile, and easy to wear. The Everyday Crop is the kind of piece you’ll reach for on repeat. It’s easy to style, whether you’re pairing it with rigid jeans, a flowy skirt, or layering it under a jacket. The wide neckline adds extra interest to elevate even the most casual outfit.

This is a BEGINNER FRIENDLY sewing pattern that includes clear instructions with step by step illustrations and a detailed video tutorial. Through this pattern, you'll learn how to sew with knit fabrics, how to sew a lined garment, how to do the burrito method, and more.

This is a SIZE INCLUSIVE sewing pattern:

- 0 - 34, which correlate to Full Bust 30"-55.5" and Waist 24"-54"

Your digital files include:

- Detailed instructions with clear illustrations

- Nested Print-at-Home Files (US Letter + A4 compatible) with layers

- Large Format File (A0/Copyshop)

- Projector File

- Full video tutorial for visual guidance: https://jessicacapalbo.myflodesk.com/b9ze5bb4cv

Fabric recommendation: The Everyday Crop is designed for knit fabrics with structure, stretch, and good recovery (meaning the fabric stretches and returns to its original shape). I recommend using a midweight knit with approximately 50% stretch to ensure comfort while maintaining the shape of the wide boat neckline. Both 2-way and 4-way stretch fabrics work well.

Cotton or rayon blends with spandex or elastane are great options, as are midweight rib knits with strong recovery. These fabrics offer enough body to support the wide neckline. Please avoid lightweight or drapey knits, as they will collapse at the neckline and not hold the shape of the wide boat neck.

Choosing a knit with good recovery is key. Your fabric should stretch comfortably and return to its original shape, helping the Everyday Crop maintain its fit over time.

Please Note:

This listing is for a PDF Sewing Pattern, NOT a paper sewing pattern or a finished garment. Upon purchase, you will receive digital PDF sewing pattern files and written instructions. Once Etsy processes your purchase, a link to download the pattern files will be sent directly to your email.
